The Castle is your main building. It can train workers and is used to return gathered gold.

Castles have a huge pool of hitpoints, which is great for forming part of a defensive wall, they can also become forts to make a location especially hard to assault.


The fort upgrade is ranged, making it even more effective against attackers.

Worker production

Castles are also the only buildings that can create workers, thus making it important for the income of gold.

Appointed production

Similiar to the Barracks, Players can appoint the place for the workers to go to without the player having to micromanage them and appoint them themselves to the desired place by right clicking the desired place while having the castle selected. This can be useful to make your workers to, for example, automatically go mining the appointed gold mine because it is possible to appoint a gold mine for workers to go to.

Weakness[edit | edit source]


Not upgraded castles have no defence so they are vulnerable to attacks and cannot protect worker lines. They also cost 300g which is a significant investment, especially early game.
